"Hidden Meaning" was a career-defining painting for Ford, leaving the viewer transfixed by it's depth, vitality and imagination. With a palette reminiscent of "Awakening Joy", now a sold-out limited edition, Ford creates this magnificent landscape adopting new elements and techniques.
Each descending treeline emotes it's own, private identity before exposing the next. This is the first painting where Ford conceived the sensuous vines that climb the intricately iluminated tree trunks, softening their vertical rise. From the blazing glory of mosaic boughs crowning the top of the painting, to the incandescent light emanating through the cluster of green trees at the bottom, Ford's mastery is revealed from every view.
